The most exciting thing coming from canadian sailing this year as he launches a new campain in the Velux 5 oceans race sailing the ECO-60 class.
Spirit of Canada is spending the 2010 summer season running training sessions with anyone lucky enough to have a spot on board. The new boat is former Solitaire built by Thierry Dubois, then sailed by Rich Wilson in the last Vendee Globe as Great American III.
With budgets for the race reefed in because of the new class, Spirit of Canada sounded very positive for the next round of planet wide action.
